This application is a repository for all of the information about Storactive's award-winning line of real-time backup products.

There are actually two versions of the Storactive Knowledge Base. The publicly accessible version on Storactive's website provides technical support and information for their customers. There's also an internal version used by Storactive employees which contains all of the information in the public version plus additional technical, sales, marketing, and corporate information.

The internal version of the Knowledge Base on Storactive's intranet includes browser based administrative tools to add, modify, or delete all of the information stored in the database. Streamline worked with the Storactive technical personnel to design the user interface and data and security architectures. The architecture we developed allowed us to use the same website and database for both the internal and public version of the Knowledge Base, while ensuring that all of the sensitive internal material was only accessible to authorized Storactive employees.

This application employs a distributed architecture, using SQL Server 2000 for the back-end database, Active Server Pages to access the databases, and a Dynamic HTML user interface for cross-platform browser support.

The Ovesny Financial System is a heavily customized version of the basic Streamline Accounting System. Streamline completely redesigned this application from a legacy DOS system.

The Ovesny & Son Construction Company uses it to run every aspect of their business, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Inventory Management, Contact Management, Fuel Taxes, and General Ledger.

Twin Hull Boats is a full-service power catamaran dealer and an authorized Honda Marine Sales & Service dealer. Streamline designed an developed www.TwinHullBoats.com, and fulfilled their need for a low cost, easy to use invoicing system to track and handle the wide range of services they provide.

We installed a local network between their shop and offices. Using a scaled down and customized version of the basic Streamline Accounting System, we set up the shop computer with an interface to query the inventory and customer service portion of the system, and provided a full invoicing interface on the office computer.

Streamline designed an developed www.BackLawOffice.com for the Bloomington, Illinois based law office of Jonathan A. Backman. The website employs Dynamic HTML and JavaScript to provide general information, form based e-mail for contacts, and search functions for a variety of legal references and resources.
